(860 posts)I think he has a good point about growing up in the culture vs faking it. But also the difference between doing something unacceptable in private (where it's comfortable and accepted) vs doing it in public (where a lot of strangers can hear you).

(13,324 posts)Not that I never use "offensive" language of any kind - that would be nearly impossible anyway - but that particular word is not a battle I've ever felt the need to fight, in any way, shape or form. I just stay the fuck away from it, and shake my head at other white people who insist upon its use.
