Prosecutors close probe, no charges in police shooting of black N.Y. teen
NEW YORK
The top federal prosecutor in Manhattan said Tuesday that his office would not be bringing charges against a police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black teen in 2012 in a case that has drawn attention from civil rights advocates.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara's statement marked the end of an investigation into the death of Ramarley Graham, 18, who was shot inside the bathroom of his Bronx apartment after being followed by police officers who said they thought he was carrying a gun.

(496 posts)Can someone tell me why I *never* read about cops following some blonde white girl or white guy and killing them and then the DA or US Attorney NOT pressing charges...
Please someone show me that story because reading about these AA boys is starting to get to me...

If my people before didn't put so much blood sweat and tears into this, I would leave.
But that would change nothing.
I apologize for getting too emotional or harsh with my opinion, but this is tiring.
