The vigils, taking place in 100 cities, will be a call to action pushing for federal charges against George Zimmerman leading up to the Saturday, August 24 March on Washington

It's not going to fix the problem. But it's a good start to shake things up - and let it be known . . . we aren't taking a back seat to any other groups' issues anymore.

I don't know about you - but for me - this was the icing on the cake after the smack down of the VRA. This is not a time for complacency. And we have something Civil Rights activists did NOT have in the 1950s' . . . we have a black President.

We've got to give him the 'opening' to have the discussion.
