Armed Members Of New Black Panther Party Protest Cops In Texas (x-post)

http://newsone.com/3166916/armed-members-of-new-black-panther-party-protest-cops-in-texas/

By Lynette Holloway

Armed members of the New Black Panther Party on Wednesday marched outside of the Waller County Jail in Hempstead, Texas, to protest the arrest and subsequent death of Sandra Bland and what they called other “crimes against Black people,” reports Houston’s Fox 26:

Yahcanon with the Black Panther Party says, “we have to take back the power, it will define who we are.”

They’re the latest group to target the Waller County Sheriff after the July 13th death of Sandra Bland.

The group took to the streets in what appeared to be a stand off with deputies from Waller County backed up by Harris County and the weapons were everywhere

NOT!

"Underscoring the racial schism in the U.S., members of the New Black Panther Party were greeted by barricades and mostly White officers from several departments in Hempstead, Texas. Meanwhile in Ferguson, White gun-toting members of the Oath Keepers walked freely with mostly White law enforcement."

Racial schism....that is a good term.

The negligent homicide of black racial war prisoner and activist Sandra Bland and the lack of action thereafter is an indelible stain on justice for all.

Hempstead, Texas is a crime scene being covered up.

more and more are beginning to realize just who we can trust with our safety and lives. Ourselves, be damned the so called allies. Yeah waller county. Those white thugs from the oath keepers weren't surrounded, you can believe that.

I preferred MLKs approach to Malcolm X.

this stuff divides us.

I get it, but I believe there are better ways.

I am saying this with all the honesty I can muster.

So when we do it, we're the ones accused of causing division?

that "whites are superior, blacks are inferior, and the manifestation of that is that blacks are undervalued, underestimated, and marginalized". So says black talker Joe Madison.

Do as they say, not what they do.

But the old black panther party has specifically denounced the new one. From Aaron Dixon (and I'm paraphrasing what he told me): "Times have changed. Information and awareness is the new way to change minds in this era of technology. There is no way to resist the state, except through a mass effort by many, many people across racial, ideological, and state lines."
