That example of navel gazing is on Chauncey's list. I forgot which number, though. There is the 'look inward to find the answers' thing, but there won't be enlightenment when it's 'all about me.'

Nothing to be done about this. Thread derailing is common. It works, as it's hard to talk to anyone and learn things, and impossible to build momentum. That's the purpose, it's not searching for the meaning of life.

get into this and say too much about it, but I was wondering myself what happened. For a second, I was thinking he finally got tired of posting here. He seems OK outside of his posts on racial and gender threads, but those type of threads seem to attract him like bees are to honey.
