But I don't claim to speak for America. And compared Europe, or anywhere else for that matter, it's much easier for immigrants to assimilate and be successful in this country.

The great thing about America is that you really only need to assimilate enough to a)learn/obey the laws b)appreciate the freedoms/opportunities that come with citizenship. Other than that, you can keep your cultural identity.
