Although all our politicians are more or less liars, for shamelessness and divisiveness your have to look to Newt and Newt-like narcissists and sociopaths who will say ANYTHING.

I was a kid, but I remember Joe McCarthy fine, he 's the guy on the left with the gun in the first frame:

a silent prayer but we were too young to understand what was happening. This event has been the basis for my opposition to prayer in school ever since. My parents would have had me give a prayer of thanks for his death - that is not what the teacher was telling us.

I do remember hearing the term Hue-Ack.
That was HUAC, the House Unamerican Activities Committee.
I also remember the "Have you no shame?" take down at the Army-McCarthy hearings.

Gingrich most reminds me of him.
