Fort Bliss investigator indicted on child porn charges

A Fort Bliss investigator was indicted this week on three counts of having and distributing child pornography.

Jeremy Drews, a 33-year-old U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division Special Agent, has been charged with receipt, possession and distribution of child pornography, a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Last month, Immigration and Customs Enforcement - Homeland Secuirty Investigations agents searched Drews home and seized his home computer and other forms of media.

A computer forensics analysis found child pornography download through the Internet, the release said.

In which case he would have to download evidence, store it and send it to a judge and defense lawyers.
