DoD to cut Tricare Prime in 5 West areas

Active-duty family members in Prime pay no enrollment fees or co-pays. Military retirees pay annual enrollment fees of $269.26 for an individual and $538.56 for families, and their co-pays for outpatient care are just $12. Prime requires no deductibles.

2. I have Tricare Primary living in a rural area. I sure like it. The only thing I hate is having to

go to my doctor's office which is 45 min away and sometimes he send me to a referral and it takes alittle longer but in general I'm happy to have this program. I hope they leave things alone but I should have know they liars never keep the committment to retirees. I went and was reading the article and was not sure if I read it right that it doesn't effective rural areas in the south. Did I read it right?
