One man and two children were found dead Tuesday morning in an on-post residence, according to Fort Hood officials.

All three were Army dependents, and it’s unclear what caused the deaths. Special agents from the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division are investigating.

The bodies were discovered about 7:15 a.m.

There is “no further threat to the community,” according to a statement from Fort Hood released about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
