but then the story swung around to using the AR exclusively. Now I'm starting to hear the "rifle in the trunk" version again.

including the phenomenon of biased reporting, and the practice of journalists interjecting themselves into the Conn. shooting story.

NPR's efforts are on-going. There are ample reasons for them to stay vigilant.
