He was arrested in Tennessee? for walking through some town with a replica black powder pistol in his hand because that was supposedly the way the law read.

Then he got popped at a state park with a Drako pistol (looks like a SB AK w/out the stock) that he had painted the tip orange on like it was supposed to be a toy gun. The general consensus is that he was trying to get some police department to violate his civil rights and cash in on the law suit.

He is referred to as "The Radnor Lake Rambo"

From 1871 to 1989 TN state law require "open carry in the hand of the army or navy pistol." In Tennessee local gun laws are not preempted if they were enacted prior to 1986. Many local governments require "open carry in the hand."

As far as your comment, "looks like a SB AK w/out the stock"...ALL PISTOLS ARE SHORT BARRELED RIFLES WITHOUT A STOCK. The only thing which seperates a pistol from a SBR is the stock.

Based on my dealing with him on other forums, I don't believe for a second that Mr. Embody is a progressive but until he violates TOS......

And since I notice that he has been locked out of this discussion I will refrain from commenting further since he can't speak in his defense.

EDIT I will add this though, I see nothing worthy of being hidden in the post above. Mr. Embody stated a fact that as an FFL he is exempt from soem of the laws governing SBRs.

That was just a grabber jury lashing out at a 'gun nut" /EDIT

Did you alert MIRT when Shares/ Loudly started posting again or when hankydubs stated specifically that he had been banned before but was back?

He hasn't violated the TOS. Apparently he has been kicked off every (right wing) gun board everywhere. Even a blind hog will root up an acorn in a rut now and then.

This guy doesn't care about right or left, liberal or conservative. He's gaming the system for money, just like he's gaming DU for exposure.

Looks like he carried both the civillian SBR AK and the black powder pistol down Belle Meade boulevard. That is the most important street in the richest part of town.

Everything this guy does is designed to profit from the "violation of his civil rights". He redefines the concept of "self promotional money grubbing bottom feeder".

In this case I don't share your scruples. He has made himself a public figure, so I don't mind raking him over the coals as much as Mittens. He asked for it. You want to try to show your ass in public for profit, bring a catchers mitt for the rotten tomatoes.

Don't be a wingnut (right-wing or extreme-fringe).

Democratic Underground is an online community for politically liberal people who understand the importance of working within the system to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of political office. Teabaggers, Neo-cons, Dittoheads, Paulites, Freepers, Birthers, and right-wingers in general are not welcome here. Neither are certain extreme-fringe left-wingers, including advocates of violent political/social change, hard-line communists, terrorist-apologists, America-haters, kooks, crackpots, LaRouchies, and the like.

might be the same guy, might be a coincidence. Either way, baiting cops into unwittingly making false arrests does the cause more harm than good, be it to make a political point or to make money off the lawsuit.

I'm guessing you are not a Ron Paul fan, it is good to see someone following Sun Tzu's advice of knowing the enemy.

baiting LEO's to violate civil rights and then suing the shit out of them for it is a... useful endeavor in that it firmly establishes a legal precedent that would give even the most intransigent LEO's something to think about before they go full out NAZI on a law abiding carrier. It shows that actions have consequences.
