A Calhoun County homeowner says he took matters into his own hands when he shot at intruders trying to rob his house, and actually hit one of them.

Out of ammo, the owner says he hit the other intruder with the shotgun. That burglar fought back, knocking the man and his elderly wife to the ground.

I bought some of the PDX 410 ammo just for kicks but haven't tried it yet. Figured it'd be pretty mean in the 410 semi-auto.

This is a great example of why magazine capacity limits are silly. Firearms are only useful as long as they contain ammunition. The more ammo they hold, the longer they remain useful. Otherwise, they just become a club.

I put together a Mossberg .410 pump as a defensive gun.

It is wearing an 18.5 inch cylinder choke barrel,and let me say that the little gun patterns well with #4 Buck, '000' Buck,and is highly accurate with slugs.

I put it together after watching a vid on youtube.

The guy in the vid seemed to know what he was talking about,and I highly recommend taking a look at it.
