4. The NRA, gun lobby and those who support them (directly or indirectly) have a lot to do with it.

Until you calm down a bit, I hope you don't carry a gun in public places.

you could tell me that the sky was blue and I wouldn't believe you due to your past statements.
NRA had nothing to do with this massacre, directly or indirectly.
Perhaps you can post some links showing that the NRA, gun lobby is responsible directly or indirectly.
Not that I expect you to.
I do carry my gun in public places, CCP should be here this week and then I will carry concealed in public places and I really don't give a darn what you think. No I'm not angry, I'm quite amused by you.

10. Every time the NRA opposes sensible gun laws
Mon Jul 23, 2012, 10:59 AM

without suggesting what it considers reasonable alternatives, it has blood on its hands and deserves every bit of invective and ridicule sent its way.

I have an absolute right not to be shot at. Until the NRA assists in preventing me from being shot at, its the most heinous useless organization on the planet short of the republicans.

11. what are sensible gun laws?

name one place where "sensible" gun laws reduced murder or suicide rates? You can't. Not even places where you have almost complete bans like UK, Jamaica, DC, Chicago, Brazil, and oh yeah Mexico.

12. Why don't you show us where in the Constitution or the BoR
Mon Jul 23, 2012, 11:11 AM
Jul 2012

where it says you have the absolute right not to be shot at.
The NRA in no way is responsible for this tragic massacre, the, James Holmes is solely responsible. All the laws in the world would not have stopped him, he could have just as easily used a bomb which would have resulted in more casualities.

I own probably $60,000 worth of firearms and ammo, does that mean I have blood on my hands as others have flat out said?
When someone says "sensible gun laws", that sends up a huge red flag because of controllers definition of what sensible is.
The laws already on the books are sufficient, they just need to be enforced.

13. I don't need a constitution to have the right not to be shot at

Your 'thinking' is part of the problem. Once I start breathing, NO-ONE else has the right to harm me EVER.

15. I never said anyone has the right to harm you
Mon Jul 23, 2012, 11:44 AM

and I hope noone ever does, but your made up right to have no one shoot at you does not trump my 2A right which, BTW, is an enumerated right.
My thinking is not part of the problem, the problem is that people make arguments from emotion, not facts.

16. Yes, we all have the right not to be shot at.

Gun ownership does not violate that right. Criminals violate that right.

You have the right not to be stabbed, or hit by a car, or poisoned by your food. Malicious or negligent people violate those rights when they stab or run over or poison you. Lay blame where it belongs - not on millions of innocent gun owners and the organization dedicated to protecting their rights.

think Karl Rove or Dick Cheney are true believers in the 2nd Amendment. Sara Palin may be the next female NRA President in the tradition of Marion Hammer & Sandy Froman. I can see that.

You know, the smirking motherfucker who actually pulled the trigger?

Everybody's fault but his, right, amirite?

Edit: Well i guess the last one mentions him, but hey, then it shifts the blame on "all of us" fuck that. That's like when someone is robbed and people respond "its your own fault for not locking your car/house/safe/whatever. Fuck that noise. A crime is nobody's fault but the perpetrator's.

After all, it's not the insane piece of shit that's the problem, it's the hunk of metal!

Ridiculing the shooter does nothing to further an agenda.
