"He said 'don't shoot me again,"

http://www.mlive.com/news/flint/index.ssf/2012/06/66-year-old_woman_who_shot_int.html

But Myles said by the grace of God she was able to get the case open. She walked back to the bedroom where the intruder was still counting money.

Myles said she still is flabbergasted that the man asked her not to shoot him again.

"I said you just came into my home and tortured me," she said. "You don't tell me what to do."

she could have gone out to her garage, taken the front tire off of her bike, gone back in and thrown it at him, that way, the dirtbag wouldn't have been hurt too badly, and, as an added bonus, the cops could id him by the tire tracks on his clothes or face.

And why would they. Simple case of self-defense/home-defense.
Totally justified. Partially disabled woman defending herself and her home.
Not a scared old white guy strutting down the street with a pistol on his hip.

that seems standard fare for the use of a firearm in self-defense.

Or saying that she only did this to compensate for her small penis.

Why would anyone have a problem with this?
The woman was defending her life in her own home. A universal, natural right. Not a civil or constitutional right. A primal right.
What stereotype does that shoot the holes in? People who take their guns on the street, maybe?

but others have used pretty much this exact scenario to "prove" that gun owners are all racist cowboys out to compensate for their small genitals.

There's another thread where a senior citizen shot at two thugs where one anti-gunner decided in complete absence of any evidence that the guy (an older white gentleman) was "probably" just waiting around for the chance to use a gun on some black kids.

Why try to make an argument where there is none? To prove a point that doesn't exist? The thread you refer to was in an internet cafe, not a woman's bedroom. How is that "this exact scenario"?

ok . . .

Anti-gun nuts come out in droves to spew their stereotypes when the story matches what they want to hear (like if the shooter is a white guy or a male).

They do not admit that those stereotypes are false when the shooter is not white or male.

They need to be called out on their hypocrisy.

You are calling out people who either are not here or do not exist.
You are spewing stereotypes with comments like "Anti-gun nuts".

I don't see any in this thread. Do you?
What I do see is a bunch of guys searching for an invisible target to justify their carrying loaded guns around in public, which has ZERO to do with this thread.
