Bank of America to gun company: Find another bank
McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing and McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. But no more: In a recent meeting, the mega-bank told the firearms company that its business is no longer welcome.
Operations director Kelly McMillan told the Daily Caller that his company has never been late on a payment and has never bounced a check. The debt outstanding on its line of credit is at 61 percent.
But at the banks request, he said, the McMillan group of companies would soon be paying off its credit line and closing its accounts.
<snip>
At this point I interrupted him, McMillan said, and asked, Can I possibly save you some time so that you dont waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.
Foxs reply, according to McMillan? That is correct.

Boycott Bank of America: They hate the Second Amendment.
I have defended banks in the past, I don't care how much they pay their presidents, I'm not a jealous man.
However, I have just learned that Bank of America told a gun company to find another bank.

(17,502 posts)finally read the history of the French Revolution (like the part about regressive taxes) and said "Oh shit".
So I'm guessing BoA will join Bushes bogus "terror watch list" as no longer regressive horse shit because now we like it.

Pay-Pal won't allow you to have an account if you deal in firearms, parts or supplies, either.

(1,534 posts)... the last time I actually had occasion to physically visit my B of A branch (which has probably a year or more), they had no problem with my openly carried pistol.
So far, I've not had any issues with them in the 15 years I've been a depositor. Love the free online bill pay; it's been a lifesaver when I work out of the country with unreliable mail delivery.

(8,142 posts)You did not deny that you thought drug dealers were like pharmacists and then said pharmacists were good for society which leads us to the conclusion that you think drug dealers are good for society. Pretty simple.
