Business owner stands up to robber (My gun's bigger)

http://www.whptv.com/news/local/story/Business-owner-stands-up-to-robber/zj9QK45qpU-tgZdD9rAjIA.cspx

A man is currently on the run from police in Dauphin County after he attempted an armed robbery at the Auto Liquidator's Outlet on Jonestown Road. Unfortunately for the robber, he chose the wrong place to try and hold up.

The owner of the store said that the robber came in with a gun and demanded money. That is when the owner pulled out his own gun. When the robber saw that the owner's gun was much bigger than his, the robber ran away. This is how the owner said the incident went down, "He came running in the door there, he had a gun wrapped in a towel and said don't move don't move just give me the bag. So I reached down, got my gun, said some words and he ran."

The owner also told CBS 21 that on Monday a man came into his business to warn him that he may be robbed by someone, because the word in prison was that he was an easy target. And that same man is the one who came back today and tried to rob him.

Lower Paxton Township Police say that he wasn't successful and no one was hurt. The owner believes that it was the size of his gun, which he calls "The Judge" that scared off the robber. Police know the identity of the man who attempted the robbery and are working to track him down.

The Judge has always reminded me of Eddie Valiant's gun in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

A number of ammo companies have recently come out with .410 buckshot loadings with the Judge in mind.

Of course, if you're speaking of the gun from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", the ammo it shoots is a bit less...conventional.

A little too heavy for me, but fun shooting melons at the plinking range. I heard the new .410 loads are really easier to handle with less recoil than the older loads too.

Highly effective in both shotguns and 410 compatible handguns, the PDX1 in 410 gauge features a distinctive black hull and black oxide high-base head and combines three plated Defense Disc™ projectiles and 12 pellets of plated BB shot. The result is the ideal personal protection load for short range engagement with the performance needed to stop threats. This load is also suitable for varmint hunting and pest control. Designed for use in the Taurus Judge, this new personal defense round provides maximum protection at close range.
