Hillery Clinton exposed for "misleading" people about PLCCA

Just read this on NPR, where they very softly point out that, she "doesn't appear to have been accurate" about it.

"[Clinton's statement] doesn't appear to be completely accurate," said Adam Winkler, professor of law at UCLA and author of Gunfight: The Battle Over the Right to Bear Arms in America, in an email to NPR. "The 2005 law does not prevent gun makers from being held liable for defects in their design. Like car makers, gun makers can be sued for selling a defective product. The problem is that gun violence victims often want to hold gun makers liable for the criminal misuse of a properly functioning product."

I will so enjoy watching Mrs. Clinton supporters cry when she goes down in flames and Bernie gets the nod as the nominee for the Democratic ticket for president.

and Clinton wins the nomination and election, how exactly will she repeal the PLCAA?

A Democratic Senate couldn't even pass UBC's despite strong backing from the White House, allegedly having overwhelming popular support, and with the grieving families of dead children from Connecticut lobbying Congress.

Regardless of whether Clinton is playing fast and loose with her descriptions of the law, the firearm industry and American gun owners have absolutely nothing to fear about any repeal of the PLCAA.

Clinton is engaging in typical politician pandering, and there's nothing particularly noteworthy or controversial in pointing it out during a Democratic primary.

I'm not sure how this fact helps the NRA, but it does help Sanders to get the truth out.
