Weapons: American Made AK-47s

The American distributor of AK-47 type weapons (Russian Weapons Company), was cut off from its source of weapons when the 2014 sanctions against Russia went into effect. In response the firm has renamed itself Kalashnikov USA and arranged for an American manufacturer to build copies of the AK-47 (without the ability to fire automatically) and other Russian designed small arms. The American made models use higher quality materials and some design tweaks (like a threaded barrel so that a suppressor can be added) to make it more marketable. Kalashnikov USA and the Russian manufacturer agree that the American firm is independent and the patent infringement issue is not being litigated at this time.

It will be interesting to see if the American made AKs are more accurate due to higher manufacturing standards.

Yea, about that, Now the cheap com-block parts kit guns, that have a "so so" record of reliability will be replaced by US made guns, that will be far and away be very superior to cheap imports. Now how will you stop the "Flood" of US made guns?

No need to buy Com-block anymore, BUY AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!!





Gun Control advocates simply don't understand that these firearms are very simple mechanical devices, and where designed to be easily and cheaply mass produced, so now they will come with a "made in USA" label.
