Kroger Under Fire From Gun-Control Moms

Above: Open Carry Second Amendmentality Loser

The fight over whether shoppers should be allowed to tote guns openly in American businesses is about to spill into the aisles of Kroger, the nation's largest supermarket chain.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a national gun control organization backed by former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, will kick off a campaign on Monday that seeks to pressure the grocery giant to ban the open carry of firearms in all of its nearly 2,500 stores.

Why the hell would anyone with 1/100th of a brain cell want to look stupid carrying a gun around. What's the point? that they have serious mental issues, or that they can carry a gun around...or is it just because... 'Merica? Senseless, and will only led to more shootings at the hands of these insane gun nut types.

FWIW, I might do a double take but I'd still go shopping if that's what was on my day's list of things to do.

I might ask if he'd please check to be sure that there wasn't a cartridge in the chamber.

If he refused, then I'd be upset and suspect that he was a shit-stirrer, maybe even a plant out to smear genuine gun rights supporters.

Unlike banning concealed-carry, you can actually accomplish what the sign says.

I'm guessing this Kroger response won't be picked up by the Bloomberg News Service.

But at least they didn't get asked to leave the property immediately, the way they did at Staples.

Kroger spokesman, Keith Dailey, has stated:

“That is why our long-standing policy on this issue is to follow state and local laws and to ask customers to be respectful of others while shopping. We know that our customers are passionate on both sides of this issue and we trust them to be responsible in our stores.”

That's what now? 4-5 rebuffs?
Not a very good batting average.
Seems Michael Bloomberg isn't getting his money's worth from his astroturfed org.
