Reviews for "My Parents Open Carry"

After saying our prayers to Jesus and Charlton Heston, I sat on the edge of my kids bed to read them this book, when I shifted my position and accidentally set off my 9mil that was strapped to my hip, shooting myself in the thigh. This wouldn't have been so bad, flesh wounds happen, other than the fact that I hit an artery and started spurting blood all over my kids Ted Nugent and Sarah Palin sheets. 4 Stars for not covering a gun's safety in your book.

After tying a tourniquet to my leg and wiping the blood off the kids, we headed to the emergency room for treatment. We made sure to bring the book along to continue reading the story to the kids while we waited, not wanting to waste a valuable teaching moment.

There were a lot of minorities in the Emergency Room when we got there, some that were even carrying intimidating guns on their hip, frightening my family. I'm sure they were up to no good. But fortunately, I still had my 9mil. on my hip, and my wife had our trusty AR-15 on her shoulder, so we knew we were safe.

It wasn't until after the shootout, while talking to the police officer that I found out that the Stand Your Ground Law works both ways. Evidently, a white man with a gun is just as scary to a black man as a black man with a gun is to a white man. Who knew? 3 Stars for not explaining this in your book.

If this is what passes for "reasoned discourse" amongst the pro-control side it's no wonder there has been a steady progression of increased liberalization of the right to keep and bear arms.

by Duckhunter makes sense if you look at it from that direction. Anyone, anyone, who reads that review is going to shake his head and say I'm no fool. It doesn't sell anything. In fact, just the ?

the one numbered 2. I read it as an IF/OR statement. It doesn't make sense as an AND.

Wouldn't want to mistake it as a fictional story with exaggeration for comedic effect to make fun of people who might bare a resemblance.

the pro-control side admitting they have no intention of engaging in honest discussion of the issue of firearms ownership. So much more effective to engage in mockery and name-calling of "the other". That must be why there has been such a tidal wave of new, meaningful legislation restricting the right to own firearms or to carry in public. Oh, wait..............................................

but it is not 9mil it is 9mm. Whatever floats the pro control sides boat. I am glad we actually have ideas on our side that would help.

So what do you think about your cut and paste Google dump of the day? We would all like to read your opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars So glad I don't have to buy this from Libyans in parking lots at the mall anymore., January 21, 2009

This review is from: Uranium Ore
I bought this to power a home-made submarine that I use to look for prehistoric-era life forms in land-locked lakes around my home town in Alaska. At first I wasn't sure if this item would (or could) arrive via mail, but I was glad to see it showed up with no problems. Well, almost no problems.

Unfortuantly my mom opened my mail, because she does not respect people's privacy. She was pretty upset to see Uranium Ore. After a long argument and me running away from home again, she finaly stopped being such an idiot and I was able to get back to work.

The quality of this Uranium is on par with the stuff I was bying from the Libyans over at the mall parking lot, but at half the price! I just hope the seller does not run out, because I have many projects on my list including a night vision sasquatch radar, an electromagnetic chupakabra cage, a high velocity, aerial, weighted Mothman net and super heated, instant grill cheese sandwhich maker.

about blue's statement. He said reasonable discourse or something like that.

I am for gun control. I am also reasonable. I want to say how the images are a negative for both sides of the debate. Looking at it from that side makes it seem different.
