Greg Hardy turns over 10 guns to cops after arrest

Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy turned over 10 guns to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Friday, and he appears to have been preparing for the zombie apocalypse.

The list of 10 guns, as posted by Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review, includes a number of shotguns and hunting rifles.

But the first item on the list, the Tavor SAR .223 (pictured), doesn’t look like something you take deer hunting (unless you really hate deer).

Hardy’s accuser in his domestic violence arrest said he threw her into a bed containing 25 to 30 guns, so this list is obviously only a third of that amount.

surrenders his weapons in accordance with applicable law pending disposition of the charges. What is the story here? Was there something you wanted to discuss or are you under the impression that you posted in GCRA/Castle Bansalot?

I have 7 as I like to shoot different calibers and models at targets. That Tavor does look scary although it is not black. It is a semi-auto bull-pup design and is functionally the same as this rifle.

is this one scary also? Probably not because it is not made of plastic. A .223 will work for small deer but hunting is not the only requirement to own a firearm.

Something the OP refuses to do. Multiple posting of "gun stories" while refusing to offer any commentary would, generally, meet the definition of "spam".

as the OP who is a host just generates cut and paste posts with no attempt to even have any discussion about his posts. I wish he would abide by the SOP as much as they enforce the one over in bansalot.

Discuss gun politics, gun control laws, the Second Amendment, the use of firearms for self-defense, and the use of firearms to commit crime and violence.

How does this post fit the SOP?

It could also double as a home defense rifle if you wanted also.

Currently running one of them with the 9mm adaptor, and waiting for the 300 BLK barrels to come out, small package and very controllable. the manual of arms once I got used to it is very easy and the ergos are great, If i could change one thing it would be a folding charging handle, but I like it better than my PS90 SBR for CQB drills, and ammo is far cheaper either in 9 or 5.56mm and with the 9mm it is a very good HD weapon.

when he couldnt even get the caliber right on Tavor, and went with the it looks so scary aproach to gun safety.

.223 is not 5.56 and the Tavor is a STANAG rifle.

the claim he is holding back is a bit specious too, I mean she counted on the way down?.. I doubt i could get 30 guns on my bed, and if i did and threw you into them them..
most likely she is mistaken, though exageration for effect is a hallmark of Domestic complaints, on BOTH sides.
