My not too bright granddaughter in-law was all upset about Obama supporting some law to take guns

away. Has he said anything like this lately and she said something about taking guns that have magazines that shot more than 10 bullets. What kind of bills are even up in Congress to do these things.

Last I heard federal legislation regarding anything like a ban died after Sandy Hook. New York and Connecticut have begun regulating magazine capacity. Most state level firearm regulation has loosened restrictions rather than tighten them.

When the title of your OP is:

"My not to bright granddaughter in-law was all upset about Obama supporting some law to take guns"

When it should be:

"My not too bright granddaughter in-law was all upset about Obama supporting some law to take guns"

You lose a lot of people who will not read your post when you disparage your in-law with improper spelling and grammar. All at the same time you are making fun of your in-law.

Any laws even remotely like these are State Laws, proposed and enacted by State legislators, not federal, not Obama.

Start with that. And end with that.

These are the facts.

Some states did pass similar laws, some tried and failed.
