Gun Control & RKBA

or The homicidal gun nut that wasn't, media narrative blown addition. it seems that the culprit is neither a gun nut, homicidal, and certainly doesn't look anything like the villains in Deliverance. Instead, it was more like the weirdest divorce movie on Lifetime.
It is very probable her only acts of gun nuttery was shooting blanks in a small part in Walking Dead. BTW, how are they still able to get modern ammo if industrial society collapsed?

(12,778 posts)the media would be reporting this quietly, if at all.
As for The Walking Dead, I'm guessing they're still finding stockpiles of ammo. I don't watch the show, though, so I don't know how long they've been at this.

(6,185 posts)I seem to recall a flurry of posts about how this is just "another example of Gun Nuts at work".
Instead it appears to be a woman, that counted on the media and gun grabber's (but I repeat myself) own stupidity and eagerness to jump to a conclusion, to try and frame her husband.
I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for a recantation though. It wouldn't be sincere and they'll do the same thing again with the next high profile case they "think" (using the term very lightly) involves guns or the NRA.
At best I expect something stupid, along the lines of; ..."Well, it wasn't a gun nut this time but ..."

He seems so disappointed that it wasn't what was at first reported, but he just can't bring himself to gracefully admit that he was wrong.

(15,333 posts)I think we're seeing another example of "red-hot DU gun control advocate flames out" in the making...

(6,185 posts)And his posse of toadies from Castle Bansalot have show up now, to point out that even though he was wrong, continues to lie about it, and gun owners actually had nothing to do with the Ricin letters (beyond one of them marrying a whack job), gun owners are all still all evil poopy heads and we're all obviously right wing plants that want more children dead.
I expect a new flurry of posts in ATA demanding Skinner close the Gungeon.
You just can't do much but point and laugh at that kind of desperation.

(26,603 posts)or simply choose to deny the immense gulfs that exist between:
- gun owner, gun-owning Democrat, gun-owning DUer, pro-RKBA Democrat/DUer,or even 'gun nut' on the one hand, and
- ricin-mailing terrorist and/or mass murderer on the other hand.
In this case I'm glad the investigators followed through, and I hope everyone gets the justice (and help) they need/deserve...
