Need help

I worked for a temp service company. They did urine drug tests but allowed you to go to the bathroom in private to take it. They assigned me a job, and while there 3 months later I had a random urine drug test by the company I was physically working at. I was working 3rd shift, and the second shift lead lady took me aside, and told me I had a random drug test. She took me in the bathroom, and told me she had to watch me urinate for the test. They had no cause to watch me. They told me it was RANDOM. Does anyone know if I have any recourse to file a suit against them. I passed the test. I have read they need cause to witness a urine drug test. And I felt violated to have to pull my pants down in front of a fellow employee. They at least should a have a nurse for that. Thanks.

Note: They did these random tests to everyone, even pre-employment for the temp service. I have witnesses.

This could happen to anyone. My brother called a few attorney's and told them he had a business and wanted to drug test, and wanted to watch the test being performed. The attorney's told him that wasn't a good idea. But for some reason it is being allowed for me. There are workers rights and laws that must protect us from this kind of treatment. What if I had something very personal under my pants that I didn't want to share with a fellow employee? What if you're male and wear women's panties? Now your fellow co-worker knows. How is that right?

I'm not a lawyer though, and that is really what you need. My only council to you would be to refuse any and all drug tests. Don't work for companies that practice this if you can. I know that doesn't help you when you have bills to pay, but the money just isn't worth it. We shouldn't allow companies to abuse us for our paychecks. Here's an article that you might want to check out:

Good luck and I hope that you can find a better job.
