Requesting information/interpretation re: Marijuana home seizure policy Wa. State

I live in Washington State. We are blessed in that pot laws are becoming lenient. Things are changing here and I wish to know how those changes will affect me. I am a grower, been growing under a three light system for decades. About 4 years ago I moved into my sister's place out in rural Pierce County. My sister lives in Wisconsin, she does not know or care what I do with the place as long as it is kept up, the neighbors don't complain about me and the bills get paid. For 4 years she has been happy with me about this set up.

New Washington State Laws are either in affect or going into affect that states we growers are not to have more than 15 plants in our grow ops. I've a brother who lives nearby who DOES know what I am doing and he is doing everything in his power to scare the hell out of me about my growing pot. He claims that under these new laws Washington State will seize my sister's property and take away my Veterans disability pension My question is: What are the odds of the State the County or even the Federal Government coming in, discovering my little grow op and screwing over my sister, (who knows nothing about pot or my growing it), or me in light of these new laws?

When I posted my OP I had just returned from my brother's home where we had a pretty heated discussion about all of this. FWIW, had I had my wits about me better, I passed by a Green Cross store and could have popped in. I am of the opinion that nobody is much interested in my little grow-op anyway. There are countless thousands of other small time cottage industry growers that are not planning on any dramatic changes when the new laws come online, (if they aren't online already) so why should I need to worry? It is better safe than sorry so at the very least, I'll be following up on your suggestion. Thanks again FuzzyRabbit.

Upon a re-read, I see that I did not make my actual intentions very clear, my apologies to you for that Warren Stupidity.

Here is what is going on: I've got a wealthy know-it-all little brother who fancies himself a 'poophouse' lawyer because he's both won and lost federal cases against some of the biggest law firms Hollywood could throw at him. This brother is a control freak who is trying to control my life. My sister who owns my place agrees. Although she is not privy to the details, she urged me to ignore him when he 'gets like that'. I posted my OP seeking a bit of ammo to be used to tell him to stfu. After being a grower since 1989, I've no intention of changing anything when it comes to my grow-op strategies regardless of how the laws regarding pot growing ebb and flow around here.

I should also point out that this brother of mine owns a bunch of rentals in this and the neighboring counties. Like many who rent out properties, he has had his share of calls from Law-Enforcement about pot operations or illegal activities going on in his places. In every case, the tenant was evicted, the place cleaned up and not once did my brother lose a house to forfeiture. He knows from personal experience that my sister won't lose her place! What is really going on is my brother is just trying to 'push my buttons' because...well I'd only be speculating on why so I'll just leave it at that.

If my concerns were truly over hurting my sister, (and they are not), then your advice would be strongly worth considering.
