THANK YOU

I want to thank some recent DU Posters for their support in a recent board I participated on:

bartries
rDigital
mSongs
glacierbay
xfundy
DCkit
Scuffy Rumbler
libodem
sarisataka

If I misspelled your names or forgot anyone, I apologize. I appreciate your kind words of support. I know several of you disagree with me on other issues unrelated to LBGT issues which makes the support that much more appreciated.

The politics of words seems as full of land mines as national politics! The LGBTQ community is very diverse and we all don't agree on everything. In my former RL community we talk of baking more pies. If the circle you join isn't exactly the flavor you are looking for, bake a new pie rather then changing the one that exists.

You've been accused of being a 'newbie' with scorn and suspicion on another board that claims to welcome all with a PC language you'll have to learn none of which is in their Statement of Purpose. She missed the part were you said you just returned to DU.

Another host of that board is correct. You can call yourself whatever you like in this forum. That's the most affirming and positive thing we can do: not let others define us. 'Big Tent!'

Welcome!
