(2,220 posts)and more the mental stimulation of having guests over for dinner, furniture shifted, routines out of whack. Our dear traumatized shelter dog gets easily stressed and intimidated by the smallest change..and hes very wary of new people, even after almost seven years of our consistent love and spoiling. He sailed through yesterday like a champ, minus the insane barrier reactivity barking frenzy till our guests got inside the house and gave him a cookie. He is down for the count today.

(3,163 posts)...my cat Molly has had a "tryptophan hangover" for the entirety of her 15-year life.
I have been convinced that, like all cats, she is 40% animal and 60% vegetable.

(4,522 posts)My dogs generally sleep most of the day, yesterday someone was playing with them from 8am - 8pm. There was always someone to throw the bone or have a tug with. They are pooped but happy pooches!
