Related: About this forumLooking for dog sweater suggestions
Our little Shih-Tzu 'Gypsy' may need a sweater or two this winter as we like to keep her hair short.
I'd like a medium weight and a light weight sweater for her.
She is 11 pounds and almost eight months old.
Any suggestions?
She graduated from puppy training yesterday.

(33,023 posts)Princess Peanut was a greyhound lab mix, so short haired. She had sweaters in a variety of thicknesses.
Measure around Gypsys' chest behind her front legs& use that to check fit at thrift shops.
Target also had nice a selection, but I looked for big dog stuff.
Cute little one.
We know shop online through pet smart hope it helps cute puppers you have.

(9,775 posts)Hes going to be seven years old this February. We live in northern Michigan we also like to keep Roscoes hair short in the winter because of snowballs that collect in his hair, yes hair, these dogs dont have fur. We hike most everyday no matter the weather. He is just fine without any covering. Our vet said just keep him moving to build and keep heat.
Dont know where you are located but were almost at the 45th parallel.

(28,394 posts)They keep them nice and dry. They are expensive, but they have some models at 40% off on the website.
My only complaint is that they dont cover their chests and their tummies get dirty from the road.
