Chubbs, a 29-pound cat that gained an impressive internet following after arriving at the Pasadena Humane Society, has been adopted, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The massive kitty was found wandering the streets of Altadena with severe matts on his back. It took the staff about two hours to shave him, and they broke a razor in the process.
Since then hes been a bit of an internet sensation, said Julie Bank, president and CEO of the Pasadena Humane Society. I cant go anywhere out in the street in the past week without somebody asking me about Chubbs.
Chubbs Update: Several possible owners have stepped forward to claim Chubbs. To thoroughly investigate these claims, we have decided to delay his adoption date. Please continue to check our website and social media for his new adoption date: https://t.co/j1ioZ3BhFH pic.twitter.com/x37NB4skAp
