Just had a 10 minute conversation with "The Beans" & Stevie Wonder

So I walked into the kitchen and The Beans started rubbing up against my legs.

I said, "how ya doin the beans?"
The Beans: mrow
Me: Really?
The Beans: mrowow
Me: You're kidding.
The Beans: meow.
Me: He didn't!
The Beans: mrow
Me: I didn't think he had it in him!
The Beans: mrowow. Mrow.
Me: You don't say.
The Beans: meow

This went on for a bit until Stevie Wonder walked in.

Me: I don't believe you Beans...
The Beans: mrow.
Stevie Wonder: Mrowow
Me: you saw it?
Stevie Wonder: Mrowowow. Mrow. Mrow.
Me: Really!
Stevie Wonder & The Beans: Mrow. Mrow. Mrow!



I love these conversations with my cats! Tickles me to no end. I'm sure if I spoke cat, they'd be saying the same thing over and over.... Gimme some nip dad! I need my fix!


I just wish Muddy and Bootsy were talkers too.

2. These two are talkers!

The Beans especially. This isn't the first 10 minute conversation we've had together. As long as I reply, she'll go on and on and fucking on..... Kinda like my wife!


On edit: told my wife about thus post. She laughed and called me an asshole. God I love that woman.....

3. "My" cat (the one that has taken up residence in my house)

has one favorite word: NOW.

Our first Kitty, when upset, would say oooooh nooooooo.

How is she doing?

6. Hey ploppy!

Bootsy is the new one. I's a little upset with her ass. If you remember she was the rescue who rode home on my shoulder.

Now that she's familiar with her new home and brothers and sisters, she don't want nothing to do with me or Mrs. Glamrock! We gotta chase her room to room to room just to give her some loving! And, most infuriating, once you finally catch her, she's al purrs! That's OK though. I don't think she would have made it through the winter if I hadn't taken her home. So consequently, my bruised ego is a small price to pay for a saved life. Although...... SOME GODDAMN APPRECIATION ISN'T TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR!


Other than that, she's real good. Seems happy. Put on a bunch of weight (perhaps too much!) And we love her. Her lack of food stunted her growth, so we got a perma-kitten.

9. When I am working at home I spend the whole day listening to my wife talk to Sam

All in Thai.

"If you are good I will take you out for a walk" (with a leash)

"Mreeeow, roow raw mrow mrow mrow" (I am always good)

Out they go and when they pass people walking around like a dog on a leash people stop and stare.

Sam gets his time to climb a tree.

The rest of the day is constant conversation between the two except when Sam is sleeping.
