(970 posts)We have adopted many rescue cats over the years, in November we adopted our latest kitty from the local (no kill) shelter. A gentle 7 year old kitty named Angel.
Everyone wants a kitten, so please consider adopting an older kitty into their forever home.

(33,643 posts)Well, it's Little Willie John, in full.
I got him as a gift within weeks of my beloved 94 g-pa passing, his name was John William (last name) and I wanted to name my cat after him ... and I thought well John is boring ... but William? Eh ... Bill? Nah ... Willie! That's a cool name for a cat ... but how to make it even better ... then I suddenly recalled the Robbie Robertson track 'Somewhere Down The Crazy River' from his first solo album and in it there's a line "Laying in the back seat, listening to Little Willie John ... yeah, that's when time stood still" ... et voila. The Kittehs name became clear.
He'll be fitteen years old come July 4 2018 ...
