I get a text over boog the chocolate lab from my wife

I’m at work fifteen minutes left ,Your dog just ate the bag of bagels. I need to stop now and pick up more bagels. In her text she goes I swear this dog does not have a brain. I reply he has two brains in his head and also in his stomach. His tummy brain is what usually gets the boog in trouble.

Brandon McMillan often has to deal with training techniques dealing with counter surfing.

I lost my beloved dog Maggie last year from an improperly stored food bag. I always knew to keep plastic bags away from little kids but never knew they could kill my pets. From [link:http://preventpetsuffocation.com|

Chip bags and other food packaging pose serious suffocation risks to our pets. Too many pets, especially dogs, have died from suffocating in chip bags, cereal boxes, snack bags, pet treat bag liners, and pet food bags. A lot of these bags are made from a strong mylar-like material (like a balloon) which helps keep snacks fresher. When a curious dog puts his head into the bag looking for leftover crumbs, the bag creates a vacuum-like seal around the dog’s neck. As he tries to breathe, the bag tightens around his neck, cutting off the oxygen. When a dog cannot remove the bag from his head, he will usually start to panic, desperately running around until he collapses and dies from asphyxiation, often losing his bowels, as well. This happens within minutes.

..the breeders and I were out of town for the evening.. .. two pups including mine were left home in the x-pen in the kitchen. We had a security cam watching them throughout the evening. We check the cam and see the two 8 week old pups batting around a plastic bag that blew into the xpen! We are 20 miles away. We panic and drive like crazy to get home.. watching them grab the bag.... we would yell thru the cam to LEAVE IT. Tense several minutes til we got home.

Good thing this happened when we were just at the Casino and not the next night when we all had $$ tix to Music Man!
