So my great dane puppy was supposed to go into the vet today to get spayed

But, she hasn't really eaten in 2 days and basically vomits up anything she does eat.

She still drinks water and her stool is basically water. She also urinates.

Since she was going to the vet regardless today, she'll have something done but, I'm so nervous! Is she going to be okay? Is this going to be cause for something expensive?

Any wisdom?

Listen to your vet and tell him or her what you have seen and over
what time period. You might want to hold off on the operation until
you and the vet figure out what is going w/your dog.

Vet rules: Simple Diarrhea.

Antibiotics and wet food with some anti nausea medication. Yay! Nothing crazy!!!

They can't tell you what they feel or what their symptoms are. So glad it was it was something 'simple'.

$900 rescue dog overnight when we got him (in 2007). He was scheduled to get neutered at the vet's office, when the vet called me and asked if I'd pay for blood work "just in case" because he wasn't satisfied with the documentation from the shelter. I said go ahead. He called back later. Neuter on hold, Jack Bauer aka Mistah Buddy aka Jack had heartworms.

All these years later, and he's right by my side. Best investment ever

was an expensive "free" pet. But the relationship was so wonderful. I wouldn't have traded it for anything.
