Is it too much to ask for dogs to poo in just one spot

My poor dog has had the walking trots...and for an old girl she sure can leave a trail throughout the whole house.

I know how miserable she must be...but I just wish she would just stand still so it's only one spot to clean. I know, they can't help it and are only doing what comes naturally. We rent and after 4 dogs and 1 cat, the carpet is shot - if we owned I would have ripped it out in favor of hard floors years ago.

This is just a half-hearted rant - I feel so helpless when she is sick. I mean look at that face!

when they take a crap in my yard?

Apparently so, no matter what our local laws say.

My friend had an elderly dachshund with similar issues. They would keep her gated in the kitchen with the floor covered in puppy pads. BTW human incontience pads (Chux) work as well as puppy pads and are cheaper.
