Related: About this forumLet's play Name That Kitten!
Well I had wanted to adopt this cat friendly dog I saw on a shelter website, but I got sick. By the time I got better he was gone
So I thought about it some more and decided to get my last kitten. I'll be 60 next January and feel farely confident I'll be around another 10 to 15 years.
So I went to the shelter to see this little calico they had on their website. I couldn't find the calico, but this little B&W boy found me.
His name at the shelter was Oreo, but I'm not sure I want to keep that. I'm thinking about Fred, as in Astaire, because of his "tuxedo". Any other suggestions?

(9,267 posts)I've had 2 cats named Fred. Fred I was named for a favorite college professor and Fred II, aka Freddie (my DU alias) was named in honor of Fred I. Both were very loving and bonded to me. I've had many cats and both Freds were my favorites ever. Freddie went to the Rainbow Bridge last fall and I miss him terribly. The name is now retired in our family, there will never be another Freddie.
Couple months ago we adopted brothers, Charlie and Andy, now 9 months old. Andy is a tuxedo like your new boy. He was named for Andy (also a tuxedo) from the Pootie Diaries in Daily Kos.

(1,090 posts)for the antichrist, we were going to just call him holy terror but the other two kitties said "no he is the antichrist" So it stuck. This little cute fur ball could be FB for short or maybe Tennessee tuxedo or TT for short.

(20,202 posts)It's been a long time since I had a kitten. I forgot how they play play play and then collapse into a kitty coma. My older cat is hissing at him but no outright attacks. They both sleep on my bed at night on opposite sides.

(20,202 posts)I've only had him a week and I can already tell he's grown. Lots of hisses from my older cat at first but it's getting better.
