Toffee is a smaller girl, only about 60 lbs. 8 is a pretty average litter for a lab, 10 is a large litter.

develop! Mama looks worn out. Hope she's doing well after that tremendous effort. Was she in good shape when she came to you?

I she a rescue? I had a chocolate lab (my absolute favorite of all my dogs), and she too was smallish and delicate (not blocky like my yellow lab now)...she was the sweetest dog I've ever known, and wanted to mother everything. Even baby birds and mice I raised, and my pet rat, who really loved playing with her. My ferrets loved playing with her too.

Mamma looks skinny. I hope she can handle this large a litter. I never bred my girl. I will enjoy future pics of these babies. All yellow and black? No chocolates?

Good girl Mamma.
