Whether they are missing an eye, a leg, or are completely paralyzed, the animals in this list never let their physical differences affect their happiness or determination. What a great reminder to all of us to appreciate every day we have, and to never take anything for granted! These animals have more heart than any human I’ve ever met…

Here we bring you 7 inspiring stories that will remind you to never let the small things get you down.

7. Wheelchair Warriors
The simplest things in life often bring the most happiness. This is certainly the case for these enthusiastic pups who recently became mobile thanks to the help of canine wheelchairs. Many of them suffered from severe physical trauma, and are now able to run and play outdoors for the first time in a long time!

6. Duncan Lou Who
Duncan Lou Who is a happy boxer puppy who was born with severely deformed rear legs and pelvis. After realizing that his legs would never heal properly, they were both amputated. Duncan Lou Who was a double amputee at just 12 weeks of age, but he doesn’t let his challenges slow him down at all. He’s an energetic, loving, and hilarious little pup who loves life to the fullest. He even enjoys an occassional visit to the beach! He truly is an inspiring example of making the best with what you have. What a sweetheart!

5. BeeBee
BeeBee was born without shoulders, and her ligaments prevent her front legs from extending properly, making it difficult to walk. Some kind engineering students offered to help get BeeBee moving again, and after some hard work they made BeeBee her very own wheelchair. Now, nothing stops her! She cruises around like a pro!
