Princess Peanut has a case of DUB syndrome
Dog Up Butt syndrome.....actually I'm affected by this as well. Symptoms of DUB include head raising when a thunder peal happens, then checking with the human, step up symptom is following the human everywhere, one half step away (except for going into the bathroom, ancient memories of the tub/shower monster prevent this) next syndrome is sitting on the humans feet and licking their knees and legs. Humans part of the treatment is getting the melatonin in a cheesewhiz ball BEFORE the real noise starts (my fault here totally) and being careful not to step on paws, then singing brown eyed girl and then Motowns greatest hits while, rubbing ears, neck and shoulders. When the melatonin sleepies take over, cover with blankie, sit on couch with human foot is in contact with dog fur. So far so good today.

My smart phone broke, and I am using for the time being a $10 very basic trac phone. and I think the ex got the camera. She is still sleeping. The national weather map is really cool and useful (my tax dollars at work, yeah!) and I see we're like to get some thunder storms in the next hour, so I'll give another cheesewhiz ball with a lesser dose. She will sleep well tonight. Dr Tinycats' orders are being obeyed.
