i've been missing my fat cat a lot lately (a bit pic heavy)

it's been nearly five months since i had to say goodbye, but i'm hurting like it was yesterday.

i became (mostly) at peace with the fact that she was gone, with the fact that she'd stopped showing up at treat and dinner time, with the fact she was no longer there to keep me company late at night, with the fact that she wasn't curled up with me when i woke up. but a couple of weeks ago i woke up thinking of her and that has stayed with me.

i have been cleaning old photos off my phone and can't bear to delete even the blurriest photo of her.

found this one while digging though the phone

i knew i had this one, but i had to dig deep for it

she may been very disapproving at times

but this was her favorite place when she got older

i smile when i think of the love she gave me, but that doesn't take away the hurt.

Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so --
'twas Heaven here with you.
