Ohio: kitty survives freezing conditions

Squee here

From the article:

An indoor cat in Elyria, Ohio somehow got out of his home and spent 17 days wandering around freezing countryside. He was found so totally frozen he was described as “basically stiff as a board” and “…it looked like he came out of a meat locker.” He was taken to Friendship APL in Lorain County initially where he made a faint “meow” and then to the Fox Veterinary Hospital.

His name is Nicky, and he is expected to recover.
