Canada: pilot rescues mother dog and puppies

http://www.cbc.ca/m/news/canada/ottawa/topstories/pilot-rescues-mother-puppies-from-northern-ontario-reserve-1.2863471

From the article:

A two-year-old mother, a Lab-Doberman mix, and her two three-week-old puppies face “freezing to death” or starvation if people don’t step in to help, according to a member of a dog rescue group in Ottawa.

The tale has a happy ending, however, thanks to two groups that helped rescue the dogs from the Sandy Lake First Nation reserve in northern Ontario and found them a foster home.
