Related: About this forumI never get tired of Maru
I'm not much of a cat person. I admit it. But I love videos of Maru. Like Monty Pyton skits you've seen a hundred times and they're still just as funny as the first time, so is Maru...

(8,175 posts)And the more attention they get, the more they perform. I am constantly amazed at how unique animals are, and how different they can be within a species. Some cats don't give a crap...or are too lazy to care. Others would do anything for food. And some just want the attention. I know my cats love it when I laugh at them...it makes them even goofier than they were before I laughed.
Maru is a special case though. I don't know if there will ever be another Maru...I wish he'd live forever.

(9,249 posts)What a character - so funny! I laughed so much that one of my cats got up and came over to see what was wrong with me.

(11,065 posts)I've watched this video probably at least 100 times and every time I'm seriously laughing myself purple. For some reason that few seconds after Maru walks into the other room with the bag on his head and then you see him casually wandering past the door with the bag still on my head just makes me fall right out of the chair.
OMG, this is just the most awesome kitty! How much you bet though that his has gotten used to his ridiculous antics so they've become normal every day stuff? There's nutty things that Yoshi does that I've seen so many times (though they're always funny) I've gotten accustomed to and almost see it as perfectly normal behavior though people that see it for the first time are crawling on the ground howling with laughter while I'm going "what?".
