(12,158 posts)her pups are born, poor uncomfortable-looking mama!
How many pups do Great Danes usually have at a time?

(131,102 posts)Not sure, but another friend of hers (I've been watching at this site for a couple of weeks) appears to have had 10. The 10 pups have been running around (and sleeping, eating, etc) until this pregnant one became a prominent feature.

(15,224 posts)I live in San Antonio where thousands of companion animals are killed each year because of pet overpopulation and irresponsible pet owners.
I spay/neuter anything that crosses my path that I am able to legally spay or neuter. It's knee jerk reaction because of all of the death that we've seen down here.
I appreciate that someone else understands the significance!

HAPPY they're arriving! My pregnant daughter was hoping she'd be doing the same shortly, but her doc said she'll have to wait a bit! 'Due' Dec 23.
