My new fur nephew

My brother and SIL got this little guy yesterday. He's a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

They had two dogs previously - one crossed the bridge in 2006, the other in 2011. My niece and nephew were born when the dogs were adults, so they've never had a puppy and they are thrilled.

His name is Samson But he's going to be very large so he'll grow into that name. I'll be meeting him next weekend.

RR's are very active dogs. They love to run. They're good for playing frisbee.

runs and she plans to take him out with her every morning when he's older. And my 4 year old nephew will do lots of playing with him, I'm sure

we were kids and they were wonderful dogs. That's when my brother became aware of them, he always said he would get one eventually and he finally did

My word, look at those powerful legs! He's sure is going to be a big strong beastie! He's got such great soulful eyes, too.
