Bumble Bees

Hi,
Just a few more pictures. The Monarda (Wild Beebalm) is in full bloom and I must have 50 bumblebees all over it any time I go to observe. First year for the Purple Prairie Clover to bloom, such a pretty flower.

Next time I'll get my real camera out instead of my phone, although I've been telling myself that for weeks.

this season despite the trees having a lot of bloom. The bees have a job and do it. I can walk and hear them buzzing all around me but I don't worry about getting stung by them. I did see a bee this AM walking on the ground. Great pics.

I had bumbles all over my hollyhocks, but unfortunately, they once again got covered in rust and I had to take them out. They are making do with the zinnias and cone flowers at the moment.
