Yea! Today I can mow the lawn!! And, my tomato plants are filling with fruit!!

There is still an air quality alert but it's downgraded. Limited outdoor activities are OK. So at 10 I'm headed out. House lawn will be mowed but I'll wait until tomorrow to do the back lot. That REALLLY needs mowing but tomorrow is going to be much cooler. Today we head to 90.

I'm still limiting my weeding because of the poison ivy rash. It is much better but there are still some blisters that are outside of the two big red areas.

I planted some grape tomatoes but I think they were mislabeled because they are the size of Romas. That's ok. I have cherry tomatoes, too. The first San Marzano has made an appearance. The Early Girls are going gangbusters. The Golden Jubilee are full of blossoms so I hope to see the first tomato, any day now.

I'm starting to see some tiny bell peppers and the chili pepper plants are filling up.

Seems like we wait soooo long for summertime and then this year it’s been delayed yet again.
Your garden is coming along nicely!

The funny thing about the lawn is, the lawn grass isn't that high. It's the seed grass that is out of control.

And I love making those 'garden to table' Mediterranean meals.

I'm keeping my eye on the garlic because it is almost ready to harvest. I usually 'cure' it for about a month. Nothing better than using my own garlic. The flavor is amazing.
