(22,037 posts)The Landlady(!) has a Jurassic zucchini plant in her garden and it keeps growing these beautiful flowers which are edible. Last night, she lightly flowered and fried them and they were delicious.
This morning, she's going to stuff them with eggs, cheese, green pepper and onions to make omelets. Yum!

No matter how it's done, it sounds delicious!
I'm cutting up a watermelon with a melon baller. Then I'll add cherries and bananas for a morning fruit salad.
Time to make up some teas today. Fresh mint tea, spicy chai, and regular decaf black tea.

The Landlady(!) has also stuffed the flowers with Ricotto cheese then baked them with tomato sauce, sort of like manicotti.
Most summers, by the time we get to August, I'm sick of everything to do with the zucchinis!

I'll probably end up having some cereal and a piece of fruit.

(38,562 posts)and yes, I took your advice and had a breakfast sandwich (ham, egg and cheese on an English muffin).
(I dreamed of her last night. I'm not clear on most of the dream, but we were laughing about something. She was smiling and laughing like she did before she got sick. It was nice to laugh with her again after such a long time.)

(35,687 posts)I let some ferment (in my refrigerator) and now it's all fizzy and delicious, almost like a kombucha.
I think I could get into this fermentation thing.
Three bottles of blueberry and strawberry kefir found their way into my grocery cart the other day. Oh, so good.
