What's for Dinner, Fri., Nov. 1, 2019

Pork chop with spaghetti squash on top. Also with applesauce. The RG made them a couple days ago, so I'm just warming one up.

I wanted to tell about my cauliflower muffins! Just think of riced cauliflower, onion, and cheese in a muffin shape and you'll have the idea. The directions specified "Italian seasonings" as an herb, but I asked the RG what he thought and he immediately said "tarragon."

The recipe calls for half as much cheese as cauliflower, so you can imagine how delicious this makes it. I used a mixture of Swiss and cheddar. I'll have a couple of them to go with the pork chop.

I riced my own cauliflower, but I think I'm going to try the recipe another time using a package of riced from the store.

Romaine, endive, and radicchio with cucumbers, tomatoes, and red pepper.

My son is going to visit for the weekend and said he wanted steak but the Landlady(!) had already defrosted a tuna steak. So, I'll broil both.

Garlic mashed potatoes with minced onions, steamed green beans and a mixed salad to accompany the meats.

I going to pick up an apple pie on the way home from work.

Sorry, but I don't understand your sentence: "I riced my own cauliflower, but I think I'm going to try the recipe another time using a package of riced from the store." What does riced mean? Thanks, in advance.

through what amounts to a large garlic press. It makes the best mashed potatoes imaginable, so smooth, and keeps them from being overworked. In the past 5 yrs or so, people have taken to ricing cauliflower, which works really well, but unlike with potatoes, you don't have to do it to mitigate starch development.
