Cherry Limeade Pie with graham cracker crust is a tangy taste of nostalgia

There are many flavors that bring me back to my childhood, flavors that I now love sharing with my own children. Cherry Limeade is one of those.

It deserves to be enjoyed as an adult and in more ways than sipped through a straw. Cherry Limeade Pie is made with layers of flavor: sweet and tart, spread over a graham cracker crust and garnished with the fluffiest whipped cream and, of course, a cherry on top.

This is nostalgia at its best. We created the Cherry Limeade Filling by bringing tart red cherries to a boil, then mashing to release the cherry juice. Once the juice is strained, whisking together the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and cherry juice over a double boiler will create a smooth and silky curdlike texture.

A simple graham cracker crust is the perfect complement. The buttery and crunchy texture of the crust layered with the creamy, tart and sweet filling and topped with fresh whipped cream bring back our cherry limeade memories.
